Nova Power Solutions' President & CEO, Announces Departure

Sterling, VA – July 27, 2011 – Nova Power Solutions Inc., a leading supplier of high quality power protection products, announced today its President and CEO, Karl Hantho, will be leaving the organization effective June 10, 2011 to pursue a new business venture.

Mr. Hantho, who has served as President and CEO of Nova Power Solutions in addition to his role as a Director for LTI DataComm over the past four years, has worked tirelessly to advance the company's mission of providing customized Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions to meet agency specific requirements.

“Karl is a talented executive who has provided valuable leadership throughout our organization,” noted Patti Miller, Owner and Chairperson for the company. “Upon notifying the Board of Directors of his intention to step down to pursue a new venture, we were initially saddened to lose his leadership but appreciated the visionary guidance he has provided over the past several years. We wish him much success as he embarks upon his new venture.”

While Mr. Ziff assumes the senior leadership position within the company, the Board of Directors is also pleased to report that Mr. Hantho will remain in the community and continue to serve as a trusted advisor and member of the Board of Directors.
