Sellier and Mostafa to Increase Government Contracting and Technology Experience
Sterling, VA – March 24, 2007: LTI DataComm announced today that it has expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of two new Directors.
"As LTI DataComm enters a new phase of development and growth we believe that the Company will benefit substantially from the addition of the talent and experience of the new Directors" said Patti Miller, Chairperson & President of LTI DataComm. "We were very deliberate in our selection of these two new Board Members as we wanted to strengthen with Board with both a strong business acumen as well as a balanced complement of Federal government contracting experience, relevant technology expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit.”
The newly appointed Board Members are:
Vic Sellier:
Mr. Sellier is a member of the Board of Directors and CFO & Treasurer and Secretary for ArgonST. Mr. Sellier was one of the three founders of Argon Engineering in 1997. He served as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice President of Argon Engineering from its inception until its merger with SenSyTech in September 2004. From 1995 until 1997, Mr. Sellier was the Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the Falls Church division of Raytheon E-Systems. From 1989 until 1995, he was the Vice President and Assistant General Manager of Engineering Research Associates, a wholly owned subsidiary of E-Systems Corporation. Mr. Sellier served as the Senior Financial and Administrative Manager of Engineering Research Associates from 1979 until its acquisition by E-Systems Corporation in 1989. Mr. Sellier received his Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University and a Masters of Business Administration from American University.
Asghar Mostafa:
Mr. Mostafa served as founder, President and CEO of Vinci Systems which designed, manufactured and sold interoperable Broadband Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) before being sold to Tellabs Inc. Prior to Vinci Systems, Mr. Mostafa founded Advanced Switching Communications, Inc. (ASC) in October 1997 which completed its successful initial public stock offering in 2000. An experienced entrepreneur with an extensive business and technical background, Mr. Mostafa previously founded ISDN Systems Corporation (ISC), and served as president and CEO of ISC until 1995, when U.S. Robotics, now part of 3Com, acquired the company. While at 3Com, Mr. Mostafa led the company's efforts to develop next generation Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology. Mr. Mostafa also served as vice president and general manager of the new broadband access division of U.S. Robotics/3Com. Mr. Mostafa holds MS in Computer Science and an MS and BS in electrical engineering from George Washington University and is a long-standing member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He has served on the board of directors of several networking and communications companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of Mostafa Venture Fund, LLC, and GWU School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) National Advisory Council.
